Have someone else
measure around your foot and leg at positions
marked A - F, and the heighth from the floor
of the positions A - D. Double check these heighths: the
distance from the (floor to A) should equal the distance from:
(the
floor to D)+(D to C)+(C to B)+(B to A). The instep: G is the highest part of the sole
to the top of the foot.
|
For each foot: Draw a straight line with a ruler
on a blank sheet of paper, place your
foot close enough so that the point of
a pencil held vertically lies on that
line, and have someone else
trace around the foot, keeping the pencil
as vertical as possible. Mark the paper
on each side of the measuring tape where
you measure F and G.

For Over-the-knee boots,
Have someone else
measure around your foot and leg at positions
marked H,J,
& K
and the heighth from the floor of the
positions H,J, & K. Double check these heighths: the
distance from the (floor to K) should equal the distance from:
(the
floor to A)+(A to H)+(H to J)+(J to K).
